Bioinspired Soft Robotics for Complex Environments
I am Saravana Prashanth Murali Babu, Associate Professor at SDU Biorobotics, University of Southern Denmark.
My research develops soft robots inspired by biological organisms to crawl, burrow, swim, grasp, and assist human movement. By integrating compliant materials, adaptive morphology, sensing, and control, I aim to create intelligent robotic systems for environmental monitoring, underwater inspection, sustainable technologies, healthcare, and exploration.
